question of stdalmatinac : How can I change the child benefit for the file without a lawyer I father, who lives in Saint Louis, Missouri’m divorced. I was out of work since January 2009 and would like to change the child support file so I can lower my child support amount. to ask for an application, but they are not required to actually hear it. You need a lawyer if you want to do it. We’re sorry.
