issue of : Do I need income information about the absent parent attorney document here I’m not a lawyer, but I asked for a change a year ago and the other party has an attorney. They have already been the case once. I put all my income information to the courts. Now the court date was postponed and now his lawyer wants me to send them my income information. Do I send them something? I have nothing to hide, but that’s his lawyer not of me. If I need a lawyer? The modification is for a child support in Indiana. This is the first time that I did for a change, since the order, filed in 2004 Best Answer.

I would bring it to court with you if you do not want to send it to him. But yes, it sounds like you need a lawyer. What kind of modification you ask? More children money? Which state do you live? When was the last time child benefit has been adjusted? There is so much more information that is important to know to answer the question ist.Edit: In your state, they use both parents income to determine how much maintenance the custodial parent receives. His lawyer is likely to want to see if an increase in income since the last time you went to court got. In this way he will be able to say that you do both always so therefore you do not need more money. I suggest a lawyer to make it your point about why we can not prove need. Otherwise you may end up with nothing in the way they figure it is based. In Illinois (where I live) they do not consider the other parents income if it is significantly higher and even then it usually take 20% min.
